Don’t claw your way to the top, you’ll regret having those thoughts about life to begin with. You will grow, you will mature, you will get older, and less will bother you overtime, and you’ll start to pay attention to other things in life, besides judging a finished product as not an accurate representation of how you want to see life. That to each we are all responsible not just the creator.
I recently started watching a new TV Show on Tubi “Gossip Girl,” I know there are many fans, especially now knowing Blake Lively as Taylor Swift’s bestie, which is why I tuned in. Can’t believe I missed this TV Show, but I really haven’t followed TV Shows since Dawson’s Creek, so I hope that they’ll forgive me for being a latecomer. So far the show is of course an exaggeration of packs in high school, but when you leave the pack like I did, it really does feel like you’re watching a TV Show, minus the Cinderella effect of women waiting on women, being the meetup was more about the House than I think the friendship, being neighbors with the most popular guy in school Jesse Israel who is now a meditation coach, and used to own a record label. He is the one who assembled the high school reunion I just attended. And in the end seeing everyone again, was just as warm and friendly as I remember my high school experience, everyone knowing one another, nice to one another, and supporting one another. When I posted flyers down Sunset, I began at the house that always cones off a section of Sunset Blvd, for non-profit fundraising events, posting one flyer to each cone. As it turns out there was a Beverly Hills hosted Brady event for the Parkland High School Shooting, I’m sure it’s probably not the same home, I posted Music Campaign flyers to, but would be a heartwarming story of courage to care, beginning with people driving by seeing flyers adorning every pole on Sunset through Hollywood. I remember the police looking at me as I was taping a flyer in front of the Mann Chinese theater, and they just looked at me and didn’t say anything.
We can recall some of our most favorite scenes from Women featured films, “Girl Movies” the best Girl Movies of all time, empowering and memorable, and maybe parts about those films do become embedded in our cultural understanding and viewpoint of what’s carrying over into real life. So flyers, could look like a scene from Mean Girls dropping copies of a book everyone across the floor of a school, or a Gossip Girl columnist online by blog could represent a character maybe people think I portray online, like the TV Show and Movies Sex in the City, always a fan of Sarah Jessica Parker, who was in one of Sydney and I’s favorite movies growing up “Hocus Pocus,” how I knew of her. But didn’t start watching the show Sex in the City until later in life maybe my 30s, on E. I believe that each time period will have new symbols of what we admireingly love about women including their personal development throughout the ages. It will always be a complex figuring out of who is who and there will always be wonder about the qualities that get picked, of all types of faces/hair. I tried to start an Instagram a while back called “Women Solved” I thought it would be a cute tribute to all things having to do with women getting along, seeing I had already established a female entitled pen name online that suddenly did well on the internet and easy to search and remember. That was cool, but with a platform or company comes responsibility, and this is what makes individual interactions all the more sensitive, whether I’m messaging and reaching out, or writing to everyone online, it’s clear that we need some general support system, which includes Taylor Swift and her audience, that creates an atmosphere or common respect between women, either for themselves, or for one another, or in a celebrity’s case, to be all in support of that public figure. There are so many beautiful and talented women, that’s for sure, but let’s also not forget about women of all ages, who may suffer from any kind of mental health issue or drug or alcohol issue, that is really separate from this whole idea of commonality or general support online for women and girls in general, maybe we are not too late, and just need a little help fixing the odds per say.

So don’t claw your way to the top, the more sensitive you get, like me for instance, can only mean one thing, how I feel is how they feel, how I look, is how they look, from a tech standpoint, I once considered places we can’t see just as important as the places we do see, like a finished product online, or who or what I look like when I’m working, dressed for the occasion and face done for the most part. It would be hard to write and not also contribute to everyone’s look book so to speak, so it really shouldn’t matter where it’s coming from or what you see represented on others, it’s about that common support, and people identify with ways they can be supported, admired, and accepted, so that’s stuff overtime history has always witnessed, such as in hair styles, and fashion. So lets not carried away over-analyzing body-types and faces. Women will be women, and depending on what men they attract shouldn’t be the end all be all assessment of beauty and intelligence, who else represents them, what matters is that you respected them for those reasons. And if our value goes up by who we know, then as a blogger or platform, I can help instill better value in anyone who knows me or lives similarly among celebrities, who simply wants to be respected successful and valued too, man or woman, and the same fight for that common respect and admiration will continue to exist, no matter which platform is promoting it, do your best.
