Be Bold Beautiful You ….

In the spirit of positivity, be bold beautiful you. When it comes to self-love, it shouldn’t matter what others think, don’t let the voices get to you. In the end this is your life, and you will have to love yourself, believe in yourself, and improve in order to be a healthy happy person, and full of all the potential in life, that others maybe wont always see in you. Its about what you see in yourself. Not everyone will be a match, attracted to you. You maybe wont feel good enough for some people. We all have different expectations and standards when it comes to how we feel, constantly bombarded by other people’s energies and frequencies. It can be difficult at times to just hold center.

According to Google.com, to be beautiful you have to: “To be considered “beautiful,” focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle by eating well, getting enough sleep, exercising regularly, and practicing good hygiene, including a consistent skincare routine, well-groomed hair, and a positive attitude; essentially, taking care of yourself inside and out is key to looking your best.” [1]

To me being beautiful when it comes to mental health, is getting to a place in life where you are comfortable with yourself and your story, so much so, that no matter what you are going through, no matter what is known about you, you don’t change and are not made to feel bad about yourself. So much of recovery from mental health is building new pathways for thinking for yourself, when old pathways didn’t work out for you. That distress and dysfunction when aggravated, can amount to a whole host of problems for you in life, which I don’t think that alcohol or stimulants work to settle you down in life, and get back to being yourself. Sometimes sobriety and being off stimulants can really push you to make changes in your life, and to surprise yourself about being able to do more things, off substances, than problems made worse by taking substances as a coping mechanism. To me being beautiful is to not turn into something that you are not simply because of what others think, be guided by your own intuitions, and be a good listener, your sense of direction may not always be the right path as I was saying earlier. Running away from problems, not facing your reality, avoiding subjects, and bottling up can only make things worse. Don’t be afraid to express yourself, chances are people will be more accepting than they will be divided or disinterested in what you have to say about recovery and mental health. I think its something that we all think about when trying to get healthy, and we all probably know someone who has struggled or is no longer here because they struggled, and don’t want that to happen for others. The best way to help is to be yourself, and to see the beauty in life, and recovery, mistake, failure, and come out on top of everything, and say to yourself, you know Im not that bad, Ive been worse, and Im proud of myself.
