Not what you want to hear ….

Whenever I take a break and there’s a delay between posts I keep wondering if time away is hurting anyone’s patience and for that I’m sorry. I too equally feel the growing demand of what’s to come what to say and think really hard of what I should say to make things better. Who’s to say that everyone feels the same way or is expecting to hear something that says exactly how they are feeling. That we can’t predict. What’s needed to be said to make other people happy. Focus on your own happiness first before worrying for what others think.

When researching what we want to hear, I found this: ”The Danger of Only Saying/Hearing What People Want to Hear:
The desire to be liked can lead to people only saying what they think others want to hear, which can hinder growth and development.” [1] They further explain that, “when the voices around us act as only an echo chamber of our personal beliefs, we miss opportunity to see the world from a new perspective.” [2] So broaden your horizons and don’t be so limited to what you want or what you think there is a whole world of opportunity that lies on the other side of our expectations, live a little.
