101 Days Sober ….

This isn’t my first time trying to get sober, I first tried to get sober back in 2007 when I was in college. I had become addicted to cocaine and needed to go to rehab. I remember I was studying for my LSAT at the time that this addiction started and barely able to keep sober to take my LSAT. What a mess I was back then, just turned 21 my whole life ahead of me and almost fucked up my entire life and not able to get into law school, but luckily I was on Deans list and got good grades and able to get in. Law school has been my life for the past 10 years in and out of law school and in and out of the hospital but never gave up and I would suggest that you don’t give up either. There may be hurdles down the road, peaks socially and you may just want to party and set yourself free into the night but eventually you’ll have to ground yourself again. I recently started doing yoga and love it I want to continue to do yoga when I move back home. I really didn’t get into sobriety until going to meetings back in 2017, I had a short stint in rehab and AA 2011 I had the coffee commitment at a meeting. I really want to stick with it this time. I’ve been working on my 4th step and going to present it to my sponsor this week so excited to finally get it done, I’ve heard such horror stories about it but it wasn’t too bad, not too many fears, resentments and people I’ve hooked up with over the years, I’ve been good, what we had to list. I hope that my time in treatment this time around shows that I’m ready and willing and able to stay sober and put in the work and be a good friend, confidant, and blogger online. I feel like the two go hand in hand, working on yourself and being there for others.
