Listening to a podcast on “What’s stealing your peace of mind” by Jeremy Godwin.
“Having order around you helps create order within you. Declutter your space. Create a tiny pocket of calm. Need a moment to pause in your day, not feel wired. Don’t glorify businesses. Prioritize rest and time to recharge. Like you prioritize important appointments. You can’t fill from an empty cup. Time for yourself needs to be a high priority. Quiet time for yourself when you get home can help reset your nervous system. Reconnect with what matters. What matters most is living your life not drag yourself through it. Get your priorities right. When life gets overwhelming it’s easy to lose sight of what matters to you. Take 5 to 10 minutes what brings you calm fulfillment and purpose how can I make a little more space for this in me week. How you create the peace of mind comes from living in alignment with your values not from pleasing others. It’s ok to let go of the stuff that doesn’t matter. Peace of mind is something you create and do that by getting honest what’s stealing your peace and not give headspace to it. You don’t have to chase peace of mind just stop making room for what interrupts it.”
