Whatever You Want …

Whatever you want go out and get it. The only thing standing in the way between you and what you want are your thoughts. Be in the present. Know that you’re worth it. You deserve the best and nothing less.

Find meaning and purpose to your life. Work on that confidence and self-esteem. Practice disciplined activities that make you feel whole and fulfilled. [1]

According to Teal Swan, “Everyone wants something. But just because a person wants something doesn’t mean that they go for it. Not going for what you want leads to a life of dissatisfaction.” [2]

I used to think that having mental health issues was like being locked in a prison of sorrow and hopelessness. But the truth is you have the power to change, and deal with your emotions and dissatisfaction in a way that can be empowering. That simple change in thinking from how you were to who you are becoming can lead you to bigger and brighter things in your future.

It’s not all about creating that perfect Facebook or Instagram post, in life our milestones mean much more to us, do it not just for likes. Deep down inside you know you can do it, it’s all about knowing your strengths and weaknesses. Start by: “identifying what you really want, take what you think you want and ask yourself “what would getting that give me?”. [3]

Chances are the difference between right now and that moment of clarity that you are in a much better space in life, is about staying true to yourself. Don’t do things because others tell you to do them do it because you want to do it. Do it because you want to change. And in doing what you need to do to be happy good things will come including getting what you want!
