First and foremost be kind to yourself. Think highly of yourself. See the good in yourself and see the good in others. Often times when we are feeling down, hopeless, or depressed we feel like the world is against us, every problem comes crashing down on us and we let go of what is and start to believe the world is something that’s it’s not. People aren’t mean they are just focused on themselves. Not all will be receptive to your needs in life, so look out for yourself in life rely less on others to get through what you’re going through in life, get help, seek therapy and support for what you’re going through sometimes professional feedback is better than any feedback you might interpret from your surroundings. Don’t be too hard on yourself.
If “Self-esteem, is the evaluation of one’s own worth or value, is a critical aspect of psychological well-being and mental health.” [1] They say that when your self perception is off and interpretation of your environment it’s best to focus on how you “need to adjust your actions or update your self-perception to better align with your current experiences.” [2] We all feel out of place sometimes. Don’t fret. Self-esteem is “evaluation of the self.” Again, so think highly of yourself don’t be too hard on yourself and see the good in yourself.
