My Views on Weight Loss …

For years I’ve been overweight only losing weight in my late 20s early 30s, then gained weight again during a medication change. I was still able to run a half marathon with the weight gain but my shins hurt so bad! So don’t give up no matter what.

Today I’m working on losing weight again, dieting, with help from a weight management doctor and a new medication which is working have lost close to 20 lbs by now and feeling great. Don’t know if you can tell by my selfies with a lens and no lens but I look better on zoom now which is the first place I’m elated to have improved I used to not recognize myself and that felt terrible.

So don’t hate yourself for being overweight learn to love yourself anyways. My blog still did well even while I was overweight. Your real friends and fans will love you no matter what. Don’t think that just because you’re overweight that people won’t like you or love you the same as others. It’s definitely taken a toll on my desire to date, not wanting to be judged for my face or my size, not that it matters with the right people.

So don’t pressure yourself to lose weight fast or right away, when the time is right you will make those changes to your diet and hopefully with the help of your PCP or dietician you can realize results for yourself like I have on my journey in weight loss.

It’s become a controversial topic but people need to do what they need to do to be healthy and happy. Best we can do is support them within reason while discouraging disorder which I’ve recently struggled with, choosing what to eat or not eating at all maybe that’s the pressure I feel to lose weight or something I’m going through personally difficult that makes me not hungry or not feel like eating. Don’t force yourself to eat either if it’s not the right food for you, I proudly quit junk food which used to be cost effective on a tight budget and spend money on fruit and salad instead which I can afford and granola bars, fruit cups, jello, yogurt, oranges, and v8.

You can eat whatever you want but not too much of it. My doctor recently told me not to drink Jamba Juice because it has too much sugar so stopping that and drinking more water I drink about a liter a day but told to drink two liters. You are beautiful anyways! Don’t be too hard on yourself avoid eating disorders it will only affect your mental health. Easy does it and good luck!
