Chances in life …

You are given chances in life, to improve yourself and your life, it’s never too late. In spite of how you feel in the immediate Theres always opportunity to conquer what is keeping you from reaching your goals in life. Goals such as career, relationships, positivity, mental health, and sobriety. You’re not alone in this how many people are also trying to improve, think beyond yourself for a second.

According to Google: Chance is “the likelihood of an event occurring (probability), an opportunity to do something, or the occurrence of events in the absence of design (luck/accident). It signifies possibility rather than certainty, or a risk taken.” [1] There may be a certain course of events that prevent you from rationalizing what is. Stuck in what you’re thinking but let it go. We may not know everything but there’s still time to learn to improve our chances in life and improve outcomes for ourselves that don’t leave us heartbroken, alone, or suffering.

It’s not uncommon for “Decision makers in positions of power often make unobserved choices under risk and uncertainty.” [2] So get your power back. According to NIH “On average, good outcomes of decision makers are attributed more to luck as compared to bad outcomes.” [3] To improve your luck “effort matters. So does skill. Experience. Perseverance. A willingness to do what others will not.” [4] So get back out there and put in the work anything can happen and anything won’t happen unless you try.
