Bounce back …

Bounce back …

It is said that “resilient individuals “bounce back” from stressful experiences quickly and effectively.” [1] After 4 months of treatment for mental health, sobriety, and stopping adderrall, I’ve come a long way. I’m still in sober living for a year. I will complete treatment by September or earlier depending on when I start making money to afford living in San Diego. That will be May 31st to September is a year and 4 months in treatment. On new meds, going to therapy once a week, and psychiatry twice a month. It’s been a process to overcome negative voices and previous self-harm, and love myself again. Life may not be perfect but I’m doing my best. I’ve started applying for jobs, at least I’m putting the work in whether I’m ready to go back to work or not. I think I’m going to stay at my insurance job and take the licensing exam next month and stay focused. I also sent an application to volunteer at a local legal aide society hope I get the job as a paralegal and go back to work, and work part time in insurance. Finding balance has been key to my recovery from voices doing things for myself that make me feel good about myself. It’s hard feeling beat up by voices in life and by what other people think but is it really that way are people truly more focused on themselves. Instead of feeling put down in life I’m working on lifting my sprints through blogging and by sharing my experiences out loud. “We all face pain and hardships. Whether it’s a career setback, breakup or health scare, building resilience is crucial for navigating life’s challenges.” [2] Recently my blog stats fell and that’s been disheartening maybe just go by my WordPress stats and steadily increase by the number of posts I write each month. I can’t let changes in stats affect me just means I need to try harder and be more uplifting. You never know what people want these days, a more professional take or a personal take in life, I’m going to focus on both. So thank you for reading and please come back I’ll be here posting my progress.
