There are so many rules these days about thinking we wonder if it’s a crime to even think at all. Let alone turn to substances to stop our thinking all together. Trust me you don’t want to go down that black hole in life of nothingness there’s so much beauty in appreciating our thoughts, all those ups and downs, it’s like we can’t express ourselves anymore. Whatever happened to self expression it seems like it’s called drama nowadays but really is it. How much can we bottle up before we explode at the seems, I find myself crying a lot when I have to keep things to myself. Life’s not an easy sport of sharing and keeping things within or run the risk of oversharing and feeling that loss of control that uncomfortable emptiness between holding a thought versus sharing it.
According to psychology today “Our happiness is dependent on the quality of our thoughts.” [1] So you be the judge. What’s a good thought? What’s a bad thought? Go by how you feel we are not all the same nor do we all talk the same, there’s so much beauty in variety, don’t stop thinking to be normal, keep thinking because it’s our thoughts that keep us alive, keep us busy, and keep us going in life. Think positive, don’t let your thoughts control you have some control over your thoughts and the voices in your head. Only you can do this no one else. It’s your body and your brain you get to decide what to do with yourself and only you can keep yourself from thinking things you know would bother you or others so think smart.
