When we least expect it …

Sometimes the best things in life occur when we least expect it. Head down focused on ourselves, not worried about what could’ve been, in the here and now. That’s when we can move forward, and it’s that change you are ready for that attracts people, places, and things back into your life. That job you never thought possible. The relationship of your dreams. A new housing arrangement. Getting back in touch with old friends. That feeling will come to you when the time is right. Don’t sell yourself short in life. Believe that you are worth it. You don’t have to be the prettiest or the most good looking to have those things in life, people will want you around no matter what you look like, so stop hating that person you see in the mirror everyday and start loving yourself. Put the work into loving yourself: journal, go for walks, meditate, organize your room do whatever it takes to declutter your mind and have more clarity. Treat yourself with kindness, don’t be too hard on yourself, and don’t stop pushing yourself to be a better person. If you want the life that you’ve always dreamed of sometimes you are only steps away from making that happen for you in life you just have to do the work.
