Mental Health Blog

Just let it go …

When the fight starts in your head and your about to go on a rant ask yourself is this worth my energy is this really how things are or is this solely in my mind. A great percentage of the time we reflect poorly when we are insecure, unsure of ourselves, maybe jealous, feeling rejected, or feel less than we have all been there though most don’t want to admit to those moments just hold their heads high and act like they’ve defied all the pins of gravity in life made it.

According to GoogleBeing upset is a major source of wasted energy, with people often spending up to 70% of their mental energy on things they cannot control.” [1]

Have we really all made it to better yet, maybe we should be further along in most things, yet we are still held back sometimes by our own thoughts about life and ourselves. Maybe you too can hold your head high knowing you’ve processed everything don’t worry about anyone else’s facade in life.

Don’t be jealous everyone has a different way of handling difficulty in life most don’t admit to it, but that doesn’t mean don’t be there for others. Behind every smile and proud face there’s a team behind them in life keeping them afloat. See it as that way. Be on your own team in life too don’t let yourself fall victim to your own thoughts in life.

Don’t feed into rejection by your own thoughts and behavior, don’t let someone else’s win take the place of your own wits about things. We all have different ways of making ourselves happy and proud. Don’t give up on your coping mechanisms in life and create your own team for yourself and maybe others in life, what you learn in life you can teach another.

Life’s not a competition the less we battle others or ourselves the happier we will be. Ignore those who are vindictive or lash out on you they’re going through their own demons in life in one ear out the other.

Don’t be resentful or try to get even leave things as they are and allow people to come around. What you learn in life you can give back to maybe someone else struggling in life. Whether that’s a relapse, withdrawal, a symptom, a fight, everyone needs back up and support in life not just you. Think of everyone, don’t compare yourself, not especially your loss or their win. One day you will win too in life. Be strong.
