I don’t think Im the first person to be considered to be insulted in the event that there is anything ongoing public that Im expected to be hurt or threatened by such as anti-semitism, I think Im a 1985 child, who grew up with no racism or anti-semitism and never felt threatened by others on the basis of who I am or who I am not. Even on CSPAN [1] today they are talking about “hate crimes and violent extremism.” Center for compassion and equitable cities is one organization that has been asked to speak today. Ron Nirenberg is the Mayor of San Antonio, talking about deadly white supremacism, and related problems the center was created in 2018, to combat problems, bringing mayors together to exchange information on successful programs that have found success in confronting extremism, to combat hate and extremism. And the Anti-Defamation League, was also involved and signed this treaty with other mayors, conference of mayors research and resources available on the center’s website. Constitutional advocacy and protection, is the next organization speaking, a lawyer who works with researchers, who brief her daily, from people who spend their time online and gathering trends on violent extremism foreign and domestic. How to address it? Its said to be done so quickly, going forward in the future. Changes in approach, decentralized, means “a break up of some of the national extremist organizations” and local state chapters that make their own decisions. Strategy, “focus on county over country” what we need is a decentralized political movement. Right to petition your government for grievances, and one major problem is disinformation.
I’m reading an article on Google Books about “grievances and coping strategies” and here is what I found that when “political structures existing (or potential) incite ethic claims” this inflames ethic conflict and undermines efforts at fostering country-wide national identity.” [2] A “tempering of ethnic animosities” is essential to building a workable solution and deterrence to the use of furthering attacks on the basis of any opinion public, belief held public discriminatory toward a particular group, sect denomination, or political figure online assumed, and not allow for disinformation to fuel violence and intimidation, spiral out of control, in the name of any one persons opinion held seeking to justify attack, these are reactions to not feel good by, when the climate transmutes from simple banter to actual action or inaction among people, and this is what adds stress to groups by identifying factors, and this is what heightens the authority and privilege and disdain for the causes for interruptions in group neutrality. I have found that when addressing misinformation or causes for disdain or exclusion, its important to see from all sides, and to not play victim, that the only way to empower yourself and others would be to prevent protect and disseminate terms to argue against an assumption or lack of consideration be made for any type of people, we should all be respected as humans by now.
A public health measure is something that is taken in opposition to measures that would otherwise discriminate and spread ideas to elicit for sickness in the face of others. I am an example of someone who is of mixed ethnicity born half Catholic half Jewish by blood, with an Immigrant Mother, and a Father raised in New York. Im the daughter of a Doctor, who was raised living at my Dad’s house, and my parents separated when I was 5. Single parents. My Mother’s best friend was murdered in 1994, when I was in 3rd grade, after my dance recital. Needless to say, I grew up always being there for others, and one rule Ive followed by Sydney’s German Grandmother, was that if I was to remain friend’s with Sydney not to watch the news, so I did not get to hear all the arguments, I did not witness all the anger, I did not face any humility or intimidation, I went to private schools growing up and excelled in sports and in school, on honor roll 6th grade, received a medal at graduation and sang a co-solo in chorus at the ceremony, and in High School got a 3.2 and was awarded “Best Female Athlete” at graduation, and in College was awarded “Honors Cum Laude in Sociology” I had a 3.8 gpa at one point in Sociology, I loved research and writing, its what I wanted to do for a profession, but was advised against it. I was also asked to be a teacher for Teach for America, and I also was offered a job at Boulder DA’s office to be a Victim Advocate, early on, as a sober student, there were many opportunities for me to help others, I guess its by who you are, what you are capable of helping, and that can all change for you, based on mental health, or lifestyle, so I as a blogger, understand what kind of lifestyle excels at standing out from the rest and know how to be a reliable person who is capable of stepping up to plate and helping in times of need, present. I think I have lived enough years mature and responsible to know how to help others. I think its unfortunate that I was put on medications that did not allow me to work and made me stay home, its disappointing that I could have had a career and been successful but for the medications that I was put on, convincing me that I was mentally ill because of who I am or what I have to say, disagreed with on some level. I think the more I write the better grasp on concepts that Im able to demonstrate in the face of any fight of battle internal or external that I may face in life, I think I have a steady understanding of risks and see the potential in others, I was raised to see the good in others. I was not raised to look for predictors of failure, or to evaluate peoples potential in life, I was not raised to size people or see people as small.
So it’s a good lesson to meet me in life, someone who was able who faced disability, and also had to face all the stigma that is created based upon placement, punishment, and treatment of you, or rejections, and its unfortunate, for people to talk about you like there is something wrong with you, when they are not out here analyzing things affected in a personal way or made to speak upon the issues that I face as a person and a patient. It really isn’t fair to go through life, and for your life to minimized by diagnosis be convinced you are mentally ill or convince you that voices are real, its not fair to be put on meds and made to live in a delusioned state of being told one thing, and knowing that youre able to do another: work.
