Pop Culture has changed throughout the years, but one thing remains the same, the same admiration and love for who we have the privilege of getting to meet in life. I remember buying a Bee Bop Magazine as a teen, and having a crush on Devin Sawa from the movie Camp Nowhere. I used to love magazines in High School, I would always buy the latest and used to collect modeling photos and make collages, that was my hobby in middle school. Then one day you grow up. In college we used to take photos with disposable cameras, nights out with friends, and silly photos partying, it wasn’t a main staple of life at the time, photography, it was mostly for capturing special events, and group photos, or family photos. Today photography has become a more important aspect of how we feel about ourselves and others, more than we thought necessary, while the number of photos we have of ourselves growing up, are childhood, then skips to high school and college, and then to our 30s, for some reason, you seem to keep track of less as you get older, but that something that I wanted to keep up with starting with selfies.
Pop Culture is bigger than it has ever been, with more bands and pop soloist on radio and online, than we are used to, music is at a new height, so this is a moment to be thankful for. The more choices we have, the more we feel heard, so it’s nice that for every feeling, and every mood, there is someone out there creating a track just to keep us company and help us to live for the moment. I think what Pop Culture is teaching us right now, is to branch out, and this will be an ongoing theme in Pop Culture thoughout the years, and not something that right now is being a held back quality about them. All accepting I would say Pop Culture is, that no matter who is up, no one is expected to be brought down to levels in life, and if we ever feel flustered, well that part of us will be accepted to, the right to live a full life full of color and vibrancy, and embrace what makes us human, to be loved, admired, to feel whole, to be accepting, to feel known, to look up to, to honor, to remember, with the changing times, this is a moment to remember who is here now, and what to do to make the most of our time together, hence the trends in bringing people together, if there wasn’t love in music, then it wouldn’t reflect what keep the majority of us going in life, things we feel loved by, people, things we love, and a life we love living.
