Accept with Gratitude …

“Gratitude helps us to stop trying to control outcomes.” Everything we go through is a necessary step toward growth and progress. And each step of the way we learn. It’s the experiences we go through that make us who we are today.

Sometimes things don’t work out the way we had planned. Life can be constantly changing but we must change too. Learn how to adapt to life as it comes. There are always lessons to learn. The point is to keep faith that our hardest battles have been fought and that our future will be unlike our past. We can grow from these experiences.

It’s time to let go of the negative feelings you are harboring over past experiences and relationships. Accept with gratitude. Times of uncertainty don’t last forever. Remind yourself that these feelings will pass. [1]

Sometimes we get so busy “trapped in our own head-space, and we just can’t let appreciation in.” [2] Start with self appreciation and pat yourself on the back for achieving all your mini goals and milestones. Trust that others along their journeys in life are noticing too, you’re not alone. Chances are people going through the same thing as you are looking for the same recognition and validation too.

“The four A’s of gratitude: appreciation, approval, admiration and attention.” [3] Remember that “An “attitude of gratitude” is the highest way of thinking” quoting Brian Tracy. And “No matter the challenges or obstacles in your way, there is always something to be grateful for.” [4]
