I know it’s been a weird few days blogging, but hopefully we can all go back to normal. I know that’s what I’ve been working on. There can be so many ways to see things, hear about things, or think about things, but don’t let all the odd and absurd things you hear put you in a bad place so to speak. Get yourself out of that funky thinking, and really put your thinking caps on. Here are some helpful ways to stay positive and to stay motivated: “Practicing healthy self-talk, Trying new experiences, Developing a morning routine, Organizing your workspace, and Practicing mindfulness or meditation.” [1] All of these things can help get you back center, after all the ways you wind up sidetracked in your thinking, sometimes all we need is some balance.
According to Linkedin:
“By setting goals, surrounding yourself with positive people, practicing gratitude, focusing on the present moment, taking care of your physical health, learning from setbacks, and engaging in activities that bring you joy, you can cultivate a positive mindset and maintain motivation.” [2]
So much about motivation is about feeling good. You should want to feel good about yourself, no matter what you wind up thinking, this is you, embrace yourself for who you are, and everything that you’re about. Look at me, I certainly don’t punish myself just because I think or see something weird, I feel compelled to talk about. Who knows it could be helpful to someone else, who may wind up making the same mistakes in their thinking, no perspective is a bad perspective, so embrace your own perspective. It can only help, by sharing, make things better, not worse, hopefully.
Forbes, encourages us to “embrace the myriad challenges” [3] you face during any epidemic/pandemic, so feel rest assured, that there are many people out there just like you trying to make ends meet, and meet the demands of what is now our current audience, and shared life experiences overall. What are things we are all affected by, sometimes having this big picture perspective makes you just a little more human, than you think you are.
Among other things, take good care of yourself (mentally and physically) and be sure to set achievable goals, don’t stop challenging yourself, simply because you have to be more careful or continue your education. With challenge comes learning, so never stop learning, make that apart of your personal growth, with goals to learn and improve in the process of providing better care to you and your loved ones, or clients. And lastly, “be hopeful,” “We will get through these difficult times, and we’ll come out the other side better and stronger than we are now.” [4]
