You Weren’t Born Yesterday ….

You weren’t born yesterday. Who’s fooling you. This is a good life. So don’t waste your time trying to figure people out, we are all human, accept people for what they’re worth. We are all in different phases of what it means to be human. I know some of us come to these realizations at different points in our lives, and now should be no different, coming from me as a blogger. You don’t have to agree with everything everyone says, and you don’t always have to relate in order to feel heard. You just need to be confident in your own instincts and willing to put in the work to also figure things out for yourself. Don’t be worried about encountering moments in life, when you don’t know what to do, or you don’t know what to say. As we get older, you learn how to be more spontaneous and learn how to live for the moment. Sometimes when we have too much time on our hands is when we tend to overthink things, instead of appreciating life, for all the simple things, don’t be hard on yourself.

What can you do to remember to be you? Remember to love yourself. There will be hurdles, there will be setbacks, there may be moments of confusion, but this is you, don’t give up on yourself. Tell yourself that you do deserve to have things in your life, even if you don’t have them. Tell yourself that you deserve to be loved, you deserve to feel fulfilled, you deserve to be at peace. So many times when we are feeling depressed and unhappy is because we don’t have our basic needs met, and even worse we convince ourselves that we are not worthy of having things in life maybe that we need. Don’t sell yourself short. You may be getting older, time may be passing, you may have experienced losses, you may have had your moments, the times may be confusing, but this is still your life, you can make anything happen for you, if you put in the work, and continue to do your best. Always set goals, keep moving forward, and don’t allow yourself to be controlled by the past. One day you will thank yourself, for all the moments you didn’t give up, hope you have a good day!
