I just left treatment and moved into sober living. Being a wuss and moved into an all women’s sober living and PHP in San Diego. I’ve been here for almost a month now. Leaving rehab as someone said before they left is “bittersweet.” I made a lot of great friends. Had a ridiculous second to last day some guy tried to fight me over a computer I got off so he could use it only saying you guys need to be patient and he started mouthing me off, and I walked away, just need to be careful. Everyone’s got issues. As I walked away he cursed at me, walked down the hall and a group of girls swarmed me and staff to calm me down they said I was shaking.
I’ve never been in a fight before that’s the first time someone tried to fight me and it was a guy. Was worried about my blood pressure was low 114/74 114/68 but they said it was normal. I guess I was just in shock I don’t want to collapse again. Need to take it easy. Focus on my health and getting healthy again. I have a heart condition.
So far I like my new sober living it’s a nice house I have a big bed and everyone’s been welcoming it’s much quieter than the last facility I supposed I got all baseball’d out being quiet and taking notice of one another, most of the men were married in the age range I’m attracted to, but made friends with some it’s never a perfect sport of supportive without flirting and confident taking notice without bothering one another it’s a careful balance of staying well, being attentive, maybe talk more speak up and introduce self more confidently. The last night everyone circled up and said goodbye to me and I spoke to everyone that was heartwarming I connected with a lot of people there I would like to keep in touch with you never know who relates when you share your story or what exactly is a conversation starter in treatment but did my best and glad people cared and care and support them all likewise. – Now I get Diet Coke and Celsius and a little more freedom compared to rehab but it was a great experience very lively a nice group of people lucky my Mom found a nice treatment center for me.
