You can do this ….

It may seem hard at first, change, but you can do this. Someone outside a meeting once told me things get better. I wondered what I looked like going to the meeting I must have been tired or out if it at sorts. But it’s true things get better. I’ve been working with a sponsor here in San Diego and working on my third step. Talking to God. Mostly for me involves talking to myself in my head to get the voices to stop, so far so good it’s working. So don’t give up. We all have problems. Things we shouldn’t have done, places we shouldn’t have gone with our feelings and thoughts, but you’re here now and sometimes that’s all that matters. Not what you’ve been through but what are you doing with your life now to get you to where you want to be in the future. For me it’s treatment it sounds easy it probably doesn’t seem appealing to most, but it’s working for me. So don’t fret, do all the little things you need to do to get better. Breathe, meditate, go for a walk, listen to music, journal, sometimes we get busy working day in and day out we forget to make time for ourselves to just chill and relax and enjoy the moment soak up the sun. It’s summer! Have fun, take it easy, and trust me it does get better.
