Stick up for yourself. No harm no foul just move forward and let the dust settle. According to Google.com that means “wait for a chaotic, hectic, or emotional situation to calm down, become clearer, or stabilize before taking action or making decisions.” There are so many ways we can conjure up in our heads that things are messed up or not fair or out of our hands. The truth is you have the power to change your thoughts about how you see things, in a way that can be bring you peace. The world doesn’t exist in black and white, there are many ways to see things that don’t involve minimizing your problems to simple everything or all statements and catastrophizing life to mean something that its not. It’s not the end of the world, things aren’t always as they seem.
On the outskirts of our problems in life there’s a better way of thinking that’s better than what limits us or makes us feel small or insignificant. Know that your feelings are valid and it’s always okay to share how you feel even if it seems overwhelming and arduous. The best way to get help with your thoughts is to share them outloud whether it’s by conversation person to person by phone call or text, this is how to make things better. By the time you know if things will blow over and you’ll be a healthier happy person than had you not shared.
