What scares you? ….

On the other side of fear is the biggest and brightest version of yourself. What used to scare me most, whether its become a reality to face everyday, or a hardship to focus on other things to overcome, you get through it, bit by bit until you feel whole again. Lets face it death is a scary concept, not just to those of us aging, but in terms of the losses we experience and how we overcome those emotions, of what couldve shouldve been, you cant go backwards in life you can only move forwards. To those of us who have lost a loved one I pray for you, that you continue to go easy on yourself, and rise one day a better stronger version of yourself. To those of us battling losses, like law enforcement or bereaved families of violence, I pray for you, that things get better, and trust that in any movement forward there are plenty of people who care and who are watching over us all, not just our angels in life.

As someone at a young age who lost a loved one, to who I am in adulthood losing a parent can be tough, but know that doing well in life, and being a healthy happy person, is what they want from you, to just do your best and make them proud. I wonder this when Im not doing well, am I letting anyone down, is anyone mad at me, when will things get better, when things get better will I have these people back in my life again. And the truth is the more pressure you put into what you want the less of it you get in life, you can’t ask for attention in life or for people to care about you, thats something given to you, when you work hard and deserve it most. Until then focus on yourself, and be proud of everyone else for their good health and happiness, and for still being here, because thats what matters moving forward not just those we have lost, but also to think about everyone we have still here with us today.
