Have the courage to change …

You have to want to change to make change happen in your life. On the other side of fear lies a brighter future for you and your thoughts moving forward. It’s all a matter of recognizing which thoughts are holding you back compared to thoughts about life that don’t leave you so downtrodden.

The grass is always greener on the other side of things. Face your fears within reason and trust your instincts. Have some integrity. To do what is right and correct your thoughts to have a better outlook in life, beat those negative thoughts out of you, you can do this, challenge yourself to change. It’s like detoxing all those thoughts that keep you down and become your fun fearless self!

Focus on self esteem and your decision making capacity. Sometimes we are brought into problems not of our own making how are you going to keep yourself from that guilt and blame in life remind yourself that it’s not your fault. The worlds problems are unrelated to you you don’t have to take on the business of others don’t inherit guilt.

Don’t be led astray sometimes we fall through the cracks in life it’s as if no one noticed we are screaming at the top of our lungs for help. Spare yourself the time and energy of screaming and actually get help! Don’t waste your time on people who don’t care about you this can leave us feeling down and helpless like poor me, feeling bad about yourself. Don’t be afraid to meet new people and in the process better understand yourself and your own needs in life. Move on from relationships the right people will come back into your life you just have to move forward and prove to everyone your worth it, they’ll be proud to be apart of this new life that you built for yourself and others!

Courage is “the ability to act on convictions despite fear, involving a conscious decision to face risks for a meaningful purpose.” [1]

“Courage, [gives us] enough inner strength to buffer the stress in high-risk circumstances … (Peterson and Seligman, 2004).”[2]

  • Courage is liberating.
  • Courage is empowering.
  • Courage can expand your sense of self. [3]

According to psychology today “the  courageous person, who has discovered it for themself, it is a powerful self-awareness. [4] “ It changes the way you feel and think about yourself. It’s empowering; it makes you feel better. You worry less about change or setbacks. It boosts your self-confidence and self-esteem. You no longer care what people think about you or what you say and do. You realize how mentally strong you actually are … it is transformative.” [5]

“With courage, you are more willing to discover the source of your fear. Courage enables you to shatter limiting beliefs. You accept what you can’t fix, and work toward repairing that which you can.”
