Don’t limit yourself …

Don’t limit yourself to just what you think, everyday is an opportunity to learn. Read the paper, watch TV learn more about the world there’s so much to do. Increase your exposure don’t get stuck in your own head. The best way to feel better about ourselves is by letting go of the thoughts that are holding us back. Expand your horizons. Stay open minded to new possibilities.

It is said to engage in “The passion for stretching yourself and sticking to it, even (or especially) when it’s not going well, is the hallmark of the growth mindset. This is the mindset that allows people to thrive during some of the most challenging times in their lives. – Carol Dweck, leading Professor of Psychology. [1]

When you don’t get what you want dont stop trying. See rejection as redirection. Don’t stop simply because you are not where you want to be in life. You won’t get anywhere better having a negative attitude about yourself. Think where is this coming from, did someone say something to me to make me not feel good about myself. Accept feedback maybe there’s something to it to teach you something about yourself, we have to face it anyways keep your head up. Who cares what anyone thinks of you, let it go don’t let anyone have power of you to keep you down in life you have to lift yourself up eventually. Instead of being hard on yourself “see failures simply as part of the learning process, using feedback to learn. Setbacks are seen as short-term challenges and change is embraced.” [2] Who cares what your story looks like you don’t have to be perfect to be happy and to live this life as best you can with what you have.

First, “find out what is important to you, we are not who we would like to be.” [3] Never stop proving yourself. Strive for progress not perfection. There may be ups and downs in the process of learning more about what you want to do with your life and how you are going to get there. Reach for the stars, the possibilities are endless with enough faith in yourself. You can restore those bouts of insecurities that keep you from reaching your goals in life and you will grow more confident in the process of learning more about yourself, improve every step of the way no matter how bad it hurts to change. You can do this.
