It’s not the end of the world …

It’s not the end of the world, if you don’t get the job, if you lose a friend, if a relationship fails, if you get bullied, if you dont graduate, if you get sued, if you’re misunderstood, if you get depressed, if you’re put on medications, if you struggle, or if you feel like giving up.

You only have one life, live it, and don’t let the negatives get you down in life, always know that something better is out there for you, its all a matter of finding yourself, and figuring out what makes you happy.

Not everyone will care, not everyone will support you, and not everyone is thinking about whats in your best interests worried about themselves, and thats okay. The world is selfish, constantly sizing you up, and setting you up for rejection, you deserve better than that.

If you work hard, mean well, and are a good person, things will turn around for you in life, just be patient.

Recently I have gotten back in touch with friends, my best friend from my childhood (Sydney Simpson), my ex-boyfriend, my Facebook friends, my family, my cousins, and my law school in San Diego, and with them I feel supported, like everything is going to be okay. Life seems to be normal for me now, and I am so thankful to have recovered, from self-harm and addiction, it’s been a struggle, and some moments more challenging than others. I’m glad I sought treatment, and got the help that I needed, things seemed to be getting worse for me not better, and know that its hard for anyone to stick around in those moments, including readers on my blog.

I hope that by sharing my experiences it was not too triggering, for you to hear my struggles, and hope that you get through whatever you are going through in your life right now, that you cant seem to get out of and come full circle. Be patient with yourself, change doesn’t happen overnight.
