I recently lost 40lbs dieting with the help of glp-1 and happy with my progress. I used to run everyday and post my workout schedule on my Instagram and couldn’t seem to lose the weight and keep it off. I’ve even run a half marathon once, and on meds! Sometimes I take breaks from the glp-1 because it causes me nausea one of the setbacks with the med but for the most part it’s been working and haven’t felt better about myself in a long time.
It was one of my biggest insecurities to be overweight, partially why I don’t date lol, but learned to love myself anyways. I don’t expect “a total psychological makeover after losing weight.” [1] However it’s helping with having low self-esteem, and the paranoia of what others think of me.
I’m sure blogging you could never tell and thank you for not judging me. My goal is to lose at least 60lbs. Keep going and not forget to work out! Stay fit. Do it for me not anyone else. It’s about staying healthy, improving my mood, and feeling good about myself no matter what weight I am stay positive!
So if you’re struggling there is hope. I see a dietician now, who’s helped me so much. I don’t eat junk food anymore, I seldom eat bread, and limit my carb intake and sugar intake, and drink 2 liters of water day! All my labs are normal and my blood pressure improved. It’s important I take good care of myself, especially if I want to blog!
