Mental Health Blog

That voice telling you you’re not good enough can sometimes be more present in your life at moments when we feel like giving up. Please don’t harm yourself when trying to understand the negative or what’s causing you to feel defeated in life. Just let it go and follow your heart back to sanity.

Difficulty can occur when “facing a heavy, persistent, and oppressive burden.” [1] Such as trying to stay well, when symptoms occur challenging us to practice self-care and regroup, knowing our worth. That can include self-medicating when we feel stuck in our problems and can’t find a way out seeking an immediate remedy which may not be best for our health.

Some choices make or break you in life. Protect yourself from harm, at some point in time in your life you have no time to waste let alone not wanting to waste time struggling with your mental heath due to for instance drugs and alcohol for some can hamper chances for success while affecting all our relationships. Know which symptoms you can avoid by taking better care of yourself and not letting yourself go.

Avoid being impulsive “Shift from seeking immediate relief to making long-term intentional choices.” [2] We face addictions in life and that’s perfectly normal, know your limits. Know when it’s taking you off path in life. It’s not always best to jump on the band wagon, social pressures and all.

Sometimes life can take a turn for the worst when we’re not focused on the positive and not taking good care of ourselves. Don’t give up on yourself no matter what. Even if you can’t forsee the turbulent path ahead, follow your instincts know when to stop, think what’s going to harm you in the long run. Especially when it comes to relationships, sometimes it’s best to let the dust settle. Things cool down and eventually everyone gets back to their senses. Don’t allow yourself to get bent out of shape in life and allow for more damage than need be.

Always seek help when needed you’re not alone in this, everyone’s going through something in life, making it hard for us to be there for one another. Don’t allow yourself to be ruled by the negative. Battle symptoms with pride and get your strength back.
