Keep writing even when the times get tough. You can only get better not worse through the practice of writing. It took me time to find jobs that let me write, and years to build an audience on my blog. It doesn’t happen overnight. Whether you’re a blogger, a book writer, a social media guru, or work in the writing field, “don’t give up on your writing—your unique voice and story matter, and every small step forward builds the momentum you need.” [1]
There are benefits and setbacks to using AI nowadays, sometimes preventing you from using your own voice with a fear of what you sound like preferring that someone else express what you are trying to say. You have a voice too and you don’t need to rely on AI to communicate your thoughts, only as a tool to help get you going if need be, it’s a sample, it shouldn’t be your finished work product. They say “Generative models help overcome writer’s block by proposing alternative angles, structuring arguments, and mapping connections.” [2]
Let go of perfection … “Just get the words down now; you can fix them later.” [3] In the editing process you can improve the how and what you are trying to say. I go through this all the time on my blog, going back and editing. Writing is a process you don’t have to make it flow all in one sloop.
