I’ve been listening to music lately to help me stay motivated and keep my mind off things. Don’t we all need reprieve from our troubles at times things truly get better when you least expect it.
Everyone’s waiting for that moment too, when all is well and things get social again. Don’t ever be too busy to socialize. I’ve been getting back in touch with friends and suggest you do the same too!
There are people out there that love and care about you, no one wants you to be alone in this, reach out for support and be your positive self again you don’t need to ruminate about the past, people forget and move forward, be one of them.
What brings you happiness in life? Ask yourself what would make me happy right now, think about your goals in life. Friendships should be apart of that. I find I’m most happy when I have friends to talk to, share humor with, and just be myself open to possibilities in life.
I think that’s what people want, to have potential and believe in all things possible. I think life has all the reason to offer us that much in life. Our hopes and dreams, and outlooks in life truly change for the better once we set our mind to it, and forgive ourselves for where we’ve been in life, that’s what makes you who you are, embrace change and everything about yourself. No one’s perfect, we all go through something challenging in life, it doesn’t always have to be mental health related.
“Embracing change and making peace with your story—past and present—is an ongoing practice of self-compassion, reframing, and letting go of what no longer fits.” [1]
I feel like too many labels get put on life over calling issues mental health issues. At what point can we accept our feelings and thinking as normal logical. I don’t think all our thinking is illogical. Maybe sometimes we get carried away in nonsense, but don’t be hard on yourself if so, there are moments when we all feel mixed up about how things truly are. Is this feeling real, is this what is really happening, how can I situate myself better to not allow this thinking or feeling to occur. We have more power than we think.
