Don’t be ruled by others disappointments are a reflection of their expectations of you not always owed to them. Sometimes people guilt trip you into believing you’ve done something wrong. Hear where others are coming from and take it with a grain of salt. Sometimes people venting can be hard to hear from, make no excuses about it, don’t be defensive, and instead openly be accepting of where people are coming from. See both sides including your own.

Be strong in the face of any adversity in life. You won’t win with all people and that’s okay. Some are more reserved than others when it comes to being accepting of others, you don’t have to do the same.

“People-pleasing is a habit driven by the fear of rejection, conflict, or disapproval rather than true kindness. Overcoming it requires building self-awareness, learning to tolerate discomfort, and protecting your time.” [1]

There will always be non believers not everyone will believe in you or rely on you for hope and that’s okay. You don’t have to lead everyone into believing the same things in life. It’s okay if people think differently than your own thoughts on life. Not everyone has the same way of navigating through life’s stressors and challenges in life, what we perceive to be the truth may differ, our realities may not be the same, but that makes you no less human.

Accept yourself as you are. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Think highly of yourself. Know that you are special whether they think so or not. This is you in your life not to let the judgments of others have such a deep affect on how you feel about yourself.

Personal Background Information:

Speaking from past experience overcoming voices and differences in opinion in life during tumultuous times, not everyone on board or supportive of me blogging, in spite of being hurt online. Things are better now, it’s a lighter tone overall with others and in terms of the voices I get. It’s up to me to turn my life around for the better not allow myself to fall victim to negative opinion, or harsh criticism of my delivery in life of information a testament to my life experiences and interactions with others.

A little positivity goes a long way, don’t give up hope!
