Mental Health Blog

There’s no shame in disability or difficulties in life. We should instead seek to empower those who struggle in life. You are not expected to function at your best everyday. Some days you’ll be on and some days may go by slower than you prefer.

In today’s world we worry, and that’s okay. There seems to be an “ongoing stigma about psychiatric conditions which can lead to thinking there’s something wrong with you for struggling in these ways.” [1]

Finding a sense of normalcy, in spite of difficulty can be hard, but it’s doable. Even at your worst it’s possible to recover and be at your best again. You have to believe in yourself and find likeminded individuals concerned with building you up not bringing you down in life. Support goes a long way. Don’t give up, when you’re almost there, believe that by setting and goals in life you’ll achieve a better life for yourself, no matter who you are or what you have in life. You never know what anyone is going through in life. You’re not alone in this.

If we want change to occur, we have to expect less of others, and first work on ourselves, changing our outlook in life, not be bothered by who or what we are not. You are doing great whether you know it or not. Don’t let anyone make you think less of yourself for struggling in life, we all have the right to improve and better ourselves. I’ve been told things get better. So let’s worry less, and think highly of ourselves, everyone deserves the best, even if you’re going through a lot right now. Have a sense of purpose in life, we are all here for a reason, no one is any less entitled to feeling good about themselves too.
