Age is just a number. Believe that time is on your side. It’s the moments we live for. Live for the moment. Learn to love yourself the same no matter what you go through in life. You only have one life to live. Do your best and make each day count.
Getting older can cause some people anxiety. Value yourself. This is you, don’t compare yourself. Practice self-care and focus on what you can do to feel good about yourself, unaffected by whatever age you are. There will be phases in life, see getting older as making you wiser, view it as a strength in life, and providing less worry over the small things in life.
“Society and a multi-billion dollar anti-aging market often equate youth with value,” [1] but it doesn’t have to be that way. Love yourself, aging is a process, you are beautiful no matter what you look like. Not everyone can afford plastic surgery or treatments to prevent signs of the aging process and that’s okay. Invest in your future, not just in what you look like.
Getting older can also “trigger grief over missed opportunities or the loss of loved ones.” [2] Decline isn’t inevitable. [3] Get your check ups, take preventative steps to taking good care of your health. Know that you are loved and that your presence is of value, worry less about time.
