Relationships can be hard, putting them together, and leaving them behind. The worst of it is leaving, neither party willing to settle for that loss of time spent with each other. Sometimes wanting it to resume, but find difficulty resuming, not all can be forgiven in life. Its best when people can remain friends and be cordial with one another. Always be supportive of people’s decisions, whether it’s of your own making, or out of personal preference people decide to leave or move on, you included.
The toughest part about ending a relationship is starting a new one, without being tainted by what went wrong in the previous relationship. A good relationship involves “navigating merging different perspectives, and managing personal wounds or insecurities.” [1] To remain in harmony with one another and finding peace in one another’s presence in our lives, is the ultimate goal. Many are not prepared for conflict and have difficulty communicating their needs without pressuring more commitment on the part of who they are with, this can leave us feeling unheard or not good enough.
There are patterns in life, we just dont want to live through, but always accept your part, its half of you is making this relationship last, or not last, its up to you to make it last, and think about how you are going to make it last. There will be ups and downs, it’s how you get through it with one another, and make the most of your time together.
