Peace of mind involves being grateful for the life you have and being appreciative of all that you do have in life, focused on the present moment, here now to live wisely, giving thanks, and cultivating a thoughtful outlook in life, not too hard on ourselves.
They say that peace of mind is “a steady, internal state of calm, mental clarity, and emotional balance that does not depend on external circumstances … representing a resilient ability to navigate life’s challenges without losing your center.” [1]
You have more than you think, remember the clothes you have, the shoes on your feet, the roof over your head, and the food on your plate. You’ve been given privileges in this life to do your best, the world is truly at your fingertips. You are more than you think, believe in yourself and all that you are capable of, such as loving and being loved, trying not giving up, and choosing to be happy. You don’t need to stay stuck. You can achieve a great many things with peace of mind. Stop to relax every now and then and remember all that you are.
