Mental Health Blog

It’s usually hard to fix yourself without support in life, sometimes requiring treatment. It’s okay to take a step back from life and the day to day hustle that life requires of you. Not all can work and getting jobs is difficult in this economy. I know because it takes time to be ready to work, and put yourself out there, just like blogging putting yourself out there for others to be receptive of you and view your potential. I think when we don’t take ourselves seriously others will not too.

It’s a lot of pressure coming from where you’re from in life to put your best foot forward without being judged as spoiled or having more opportunities in life than others. That’s not true. Even those who struggle are eventually able to get jobs.

Take me for instance, not perfect, doing my best, and able when I set my mind to it. Once you get going again, life gets better but don’t regret the past, learn from your mistakes and move forward.

Getting well and staying well means daily progress of taking good care of yourself. You may not be able to heal old wounds in life but that doesn’t make you any less of a person because of what you go through in life. People know less about you than you think. It’s what you tell others about you is how you’ll be judged in life. Be open but within reason there is always risk in sharing your story especially in public.

Rely on a trusted support groups of non judgmental people, that’s an environment in which you can heal from disability and adversity in life meeting others likeminded and going through difficulties too.

Not everyone is successful just because you’re working and lose 40lbs doesn’t make life perfect again but I’m doing my best to be positive. Just be happy with yourself if you’ve made it this far, don’t give up, when symptoms arise.
