Mental Health Blog

The truth is you get to create the voices in your head don’t let them trick you into thinking you are less than you are. Usually when we’re insecure and not feeling good about ourselves they can be hard on us. Don’t let yourself be affected by negativity or worry about what others think of you. Everyone has their own issues don’t let the voice of something acting not in your best interests to control the way you feel about yourself. It could just be something you’re imagining that is not truly there.

Overcoming voices is a daily practice of doing things in life you feel proud of. Sometimes the only way to overcome negativity is through self-improvement.

We tend to be bullied when we feel alone, don’t isolate and give power to an outside stressor affecting you and your mental health. It is said that “Experiencing a bullying voice in your head can stem from an intense inner critic or auditory hallucinations linked to stress, trauma, or mental health conditions.” [1]

Try not to panic or hurt yourself over it reach out for help talk to a doctor or close friend about it. I know when I tell anyone I love they often have a solution for me or reassure me that everything will be okay. It’s also important not to turn to alcohol or drugs as a primary coping strategy that’s only temporary relief from a deeper issue you need to solve that’s up to you to get to know yourself and your triggers. It won’t last forever have faith keep busy and don’t stop working on yourself.

Things do get better with meds, have faith in your psychiatrist to help you. I worry sometimes of the side effects of blogging and letting others into my life you can’t always trust strangers there are so many risks with speaking in public which is where I think most of my worries stem from. I love blogging so it’s hard for me to accept the reality that you can’t control what’s going on outside of yourself or control the voice of others don’t let negative people or fears keep you from having a voice of your own. Don’t let anyone affect you!
