Losing Your Grip with Reality …

Think of all the ways that you could completely be devastated in life, and be prepared. Usually something we are told is called “future tripping” a symptom of bipolar actually, along with “catastrophizing,” so let’s learn to rephase our future trips and also be mentally prepared in the event we face a personal emergency in life such as a panic attack or a mental health scare, what are you going to do in the event that your life turns into complete chaos, like the week before a deadline, or a final exam, how are you going to prepare yourself so that you don’t encounter these fears setbacks in life? Plan in advance! Just like you would pack your bag for a trip, same thing with life, pack your skills with knowledge, so in the event you face a symptom, you know what to do or have a solution. Half the battle with mental health issues is being able to identify the issue. For example voices, have recently gone into remission for me lately, which means that my here and now is better, as a result of the day before and each day before that, so that right now Im able to plan ahead, and prepare for my future. It’s amazing how slow going things move forward when you haven’t packed your bag with tools for coping.

According to helpguide.org, with “guided” practice whether that’s imagery, reading, you can improve, the technique of guided practice should do the following for you, help to relax and reduce stress, so that your mood is better adjusted so that you don’t encounter those feelings, and helps to avoid depressed mood and feelings, which is common when things are not going right for us. I know there is no such thing as normal, but really when it comes to mental health, identify what your perfect day should feel like and that should be your goal to get to, this is how journaling helps, well at least blogging for me. Not only do my stats tell me when Im balanced and writing normally and approrpriately, but I also get the feeling of calm. When things feel right and when the quiet takes over, you know that you have permission to do more, help more, write more, think more, these are spaces in time, when you are given the energy to do things, and that’s the state of mind that we are individually seeking to achieve, one that is absent the difficulties of when given a hard time, or feeling the brute force of it all on our shoulders, theres no need to fret, when there is work ahead, that is built with a good feeling that reinforces your capability to do the work, so set your goals high feeling wise, get to know yourself, and aim to achieve in life, and regroup accordingly, only you know your settings.
