I would cut down half the trees, to leave room for a species to flourish and once the species exhibits a population growth based on what was determined to be the issue too many trees, then one can decide to cut down the rest of the trees to continue to grow the species, the tree cutting should be weighed on the ecological value of more species would that benefit an environment more than leaving the trees as they are does the existence of a species provide a greater ecological value than the existence of a tree. When two things are living is the value of the species more valuable than the trees can the trees be replaced after they are cut down and the species have flourished. What are the reasons for scientist to conclude that it’s the trees that are standing in the way of a species flourishing? Then why would a species exist in an environment or choose an environment where there are trees to live there must be some historical reason as to why a species has been found in the woods.
